Writing for Well Being: Opening up to Kindness

Write your way to a more positive outlook on life!

Couldn’t we all use a bit of kindness? In this workshop, we’ll do activities to access that wellspring of kindness in each of us.  We’ll discover ways to recognize kindness around us.  Perhaps we’ll find ideas to commit random acts of kindness.  And certainly, we’ll learn how to be more kind towards ourselves.

Join us for some gentle writing activities in the calm and welcoming atmosphere of York Yoga Studio. No previous writing experience needed, all writing levels welcome. You never have to read aloud anything you have written. Just come and give it a go in this beautiful venue with like-minded and friendly people.

Laura Napran, PhD, is an experienced teacher, writer and storyteller, and a member of Lapidus (Literary Arts for Personal Development) and NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education).
