Writing for Well Being - Creative Mindfulness

Write your way to a more positive outlook on life!

Couldn’t we all use a bit more mindfulness? It’s all about focusing on whatever you are doing – whether it’s what’s in front of you right now, or something imaginative, or ways to centre and calm your mind. Join us for some lovely writing activities which can help you find that mindful focus in a creative way!

All writing levels welcome, no previous writing experience needed. You never have to read aloud anything you have written.

Just bring a notebook, and enjoy the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere of York Yoga Studio with like-minded people.

Laura Napran, PhD, is an experienced teacher, writer and storyteller, and a member of Lapidus (Literary Arts for Personal Development) and NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education).
