York Yoga ONLINE Studio

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for visiting York Yoga Studio’s webpage. 

In October 2021 we closed our Bricks and Mortar studio.  This was a heart-breaking decision for us, but during the pandemic it felt right as part of our observance of Ahimsa, the yogic restraint to do no harm.

And now we have embraced ONLINE YOGA as the amazing resource that it is! Yoga is and always has been a personal and individual practice, and online classes allow each student to embrace their own practice, to listen more deeply to their bodies and their instincts, and to bring yoga into their own homes.

We are currently offering two weekly online Hatha yoga classes:

  • All Levels Hatha, Wednesdays 6 – 7:15pm.
    All Levels Hatha really is for all levels - modifications make poses more accessible or challenging so that you practice at the right level for you. Suitable for beginners.  The Wednesday classes consist of a 6-week term based loosely around a theme, usually exploring how our mat work enriches and supports our whole lives.

  • Lunchtime Hatha, Fridays 12 – 1pm. 
    This All Levels class is suitable for everyone.  It is like the Wednesday class, just condensed a little so that you can fit it into the middle of your busy day.
